You must have heard many people saying that they use twitter to promote their stuff.. But you must be wondering how do they ever do it..?? Even I used to have the same question on my mind.. I tried tweeting my links on twitter.. But here was no difference in my traffic..
There was something missing which I didn't know and my friends did.. What was it..??

It's simple.. What I used to do was just tweet my link.. But I should have done something more.. What is it..?? Adding a hash tag.. Yes, adding a hash tag makes a lot of difference.. I added a link to my hash tag and the next thing I see is that I got about 40 views in just 5 minutes..! That was really fascinating.. Now, even I use twitterto promote my stuff.. Would you give it a try..??
For people who don't know what's a hash tag and how to add it, here's is it.. A hashtag is similar to other web tags- it helps add tweets to a category..  Hashtags have the 'hash' or 'pound' symbol (#) preceding the tag, like so: #traffic, #followfriday, #hashtag. You can add a hash tag anywhere in your tweet.. See the pic for an example..!
