How do you use these programs in Linux.?

Wine is a program that allows you to run Windows programs on Linux.. It is an open source implementation of the Windows API.. Wine allows you to run Windows programs on x86-based Unixes, including Linux, Ubuntu, Fedora, FreeBSD, and Solaris.. Some of the highlights of Wine are :

• Supports Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP, Windows 3.x and DOS programs and libraries
• DirectX support for games
• Allows you to install Windows programs in Linux
• Configure Wine to mimic different versions of Windows for different applications
• Allows you to emulate a virtual desktop
